Fine Food Australia is the country’s largest trade exhibition for the foodservice, hospitality and retail industries. The event presents new and innovative products from around Australia and internationally, as well as live demonstrations, masterclasses and industry recognised competitions. The show runs every year and alternates between Sydney and Melbourne.

Fine Food Australia is a trade only event for professionals working in the foodservice, hospitality and retail industries. As this is a business event for those people working in the industry, we ask visitors not to bring anyone under the age of 15 to the show. This is for their own safety as there is cooking equipment in operation on the show floor that could potentially pose a hazard to children. Proof of age and industry involvement may be requested at the door.

Registration for Fine Food Australia is free. All visitors must pre-register online before arriving.

Once you register online, you will be sent a confirmation email with a QR Code which you can use to print your entry badge onsite. Each visitor is required to complete an individual registration, in order to generate a personalised entry badge. Your badge will give you entry to Fine Food Australia on any of the days during show time.

No, each individual is required to complete a registration form, in order to generate a ticket to Fine Food Australia.

All international visitors need to apply for a business visa. The passport which you hold will determine whether you can apply online, or if you need to lodge a paper-based application. Before lodging any application please take note of any travel restrictions that may apply.

Applications need to be made well in advance at the Australian Embassy in your country or in some cases can be made online. For more information visit the Department of Home Affairs website.

Please note that the organisers DO NOT provide visa invitation letters to international visitors.

This is a scam and you should ignore them. Fine Food Australia operates under strict data privacy laws, and we do not share our visitor or any other internal data with unauthorised third parties.  

Any communication you may receive offering you to rent/buy or download our visitor or exhibitor contacts is a scam and should be deleted. We are currently exploring legal avenues to shut down these practices.

Students enrolled at a tertiary level or registered apprentices may attend the show if they have the appropriate student identity card. All students will need to register online. Primary and Secondary school students will not be admitted, regardless of any courses they are studying.

Students must be mindful that Fine Food Australia is a business event. Exhibitors are present to engage in business conversations. Please be considerate of their time and of any promotional material available.

Tertiary students with valid student ID will be admitted. Due to OH&S, prams, strollers and trolleys (ie shopping trolleys) are strictly not permitted at the event. Under no circumstances are any children permitted into the exhibition halls during the setting up and disassembling of the show.

Yes. Proof of industry involvement may be requested at the registration counters or at the entrance, and can include:

A business card in your name; or
Employee verification on company letterhead; or
Evidence of membership of a relevant professional or industry association.
