The foodservice industry celebrated and recognised outstanding achievements at the FSAA Awards of Excellence.
The night of nights returned this year to celebrate the success and achievements for the foodservice industry.
The foodservice industry celebrated their night of nights with more than 370 guests at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne on Tuesday, 9th September.
“The turnout, recognition and well-deserved accolades, especially given the recent unprecedented times our industry has faced, has been nothing short of extraordinary. This year we also included the inaugural Chairperson’s Honour Award, which recognised those unsung heroes among us. The ones that have gone above and beyond over the past 12 months” said Minnie Constan, CEO FSAA
“I am also pleased with the calibre of emerging talent being identified and, as an Association, are very proud to be offering mentoring and scholarship programs which ensure these people are supported enough to stay in the industry.” she said.
The FSAA Awards program recognizes outstanding distributors, suppliers, innovators, Industry Legends, with its Hall of Fame and now the unsung heroes among us with the Inaugural Chairperson’s Award.
The Distributor Awards, acknowledge distributor leadership and overall excellence within the foodservice industry. The voting is done by suppliers across 6 criteria, Communication, Manufacturer Co-Operation, Staff & Site Professionalism, Administration, End-user relationships and Marketing commitment. The Supplier of the Year awards (Food, Beverage, Tabletop/Packaging and Equipment) are voted upon by the food and grocery distributors across 5 criteria, Communication, Business co-operation, Staff Professionalism, Administration and Marketing commitment.
